We got our Marriage License today!!!!

Just went to town hall and got our marriage license. It feels so real now . Only 17 days till I DO.. so excited i could scream lol ....and then thankfully while i was there found out my birth certificate wasnt a real birth certificate it was just a paper with all the info on it but looked so real...i was born in 85 it had no seal the imprinted seal so thankfully while i was there i got my birth certificate to bc she said ill need it to change my name at dmv and social security office .. anyone else run into this problem ? Or problems like this ? How many days do you all have left till I Do ?

    That's so exciting! Also great that you figured out the birth certificate issue now instead of later! We got our license a little over a week ago and is is soo exciting. We have 40 days left!

    We just hit the 60 day mark this weekend and it is all I can do to not grab her and run to the clerk's office for our license. We're waiting till next month though. It makes it all so real! Congrats!!!!

    How exciting and it is a good thing you were able to get the birth certificate while you were there! We are 18 days out, we got our license last week and we are ready to roll!!

    Awesome day after me congratulations.. and good luck yea i thought our licenses were good for only 30 days but found out today 60 days so thats why we just got it today makes it feel so official...so happy for you abrams..Smiley smile

    Thank you ivyandkris yes that it does we waited this long bc i thought it was 30 days but its 60 days now lol or i would have gotten mine Aug 1st lol ...i understand wanting to run to get one feels so good and i accomplished so much today feels great ...good luck to you guys on your day of Smiley smile

    We just got our last Friday, 31 days to go!


    Also while applying for my passport I also needed to get a new birth certificate that had a raised seal on it as well as FH had to do the same.

    I had to too with the raised seal bc my original birth certificate didnt have it so thankfully lady at the marriage counter told ne to get one while i was there so yea or i would have been stressed going to social security office and dmv to change my name lol
