We Got Our Engagement Photos Back!

We took our photos at Elizabeth Park in Hartford, CT. Beautiful grounds and so many flowers in bloom.
Our original location was Talbott Mountain State Park, however that (we found out the night before the session) was closed due to hazardous tree removal due to the tornadoes that came through CT last summer.

I was also so nervous that we would get rained out because the day before it said that it was going to be thunderstorms all day!
Our photographer was awesome and not upset at all that we had to move the location. He understood completely. Thankfully it was the opposite. It was such a gorgeous day and a gorgeous location.
We are huge Marvel fans so we wanted to add one of our favorite things into the photos. I love how these all turned out!

Omg I love your pics!!!!! You guys look so beautiful together !!! Also I love the props I wish me and FH would’ve done that!! He made me watch all the marvel movies and I love them now!

We used Eivan's, the give you a free 1 hour photo session when you book them for your wedding. The name of the actual photographer is Peter Paradise Michaels. He was wonderful to work with.

Hi Sinéad!
We are huge Disney and Marvel fans. My fiance's brother bought him Captain America's Shield years ago for a birthday gift and last year my fiance gave me Thor's Hammer for Christmas.
We are having small Disney touches for our wedding so it was only natural that we added some Marvel to a few of our engagement photos. We didn't want to have stuffy or overly posed engagement photos and wanted to add some of out personality to them.

Our table numbers are going to be our favorite rides at Walt Disney World. We are also having small hidden mickeys throughout the venue and Disney pins on the groomsmens boutonnieres

Thanks! I cant wait to see it all come together and post pictures.
Since we couldn't get married at WDW (too expensive) we decided to incorporate as much as we could without it being tacky.
