After two months of crying and beating myself up over the things I can’t control; we have finally postponed our wedding to May 15th 2021. I have cried for weeks to the point were I no longer have tears left to cry. I knew in my heart that this was the best thing I could do for myself and my family. I kept thinking about how I was not even happy about getting married because of this virus. This time should have been the best times of my life. I can’t honestly has after finally making the decision I am happy and proud of putting my family and friends health before myself. I love in NY so June May be okay but I don’t want it to be the center of my day. I want my guest to be excited to dance, huge, and have a good time. Though I am heartbroken I am so excited for our day in May!! I know this will be the best day ever ❤️

Hey, I'm right there with you! Also in NY and we just postponed from this July to August 2021. I am so very sad that this is happening and that we have to wait so long. I keep having to tell myself it will be the exact wedding we wanted, just on a different day. And if we had it in July, it likely would have been a very different wedding than what we imagined, for all the reasons you mentioned. Good luck to you! Cheers to 2021!
