Just Said Yes July 2027

We do! (again)

Hi everyone! So not used to posting on platforms like this but I am looking for some advice so I can stop driving myself crazy over here!

Me and my husband (yes I said that) have been happily married for soon to be 5 years this July. We "eloped" in 2020 during covid and then I got pregnant with our son the same year so a wedding was just not in the cards for us then. Now that we are a little more established I've had thoughts of planning the wedding we never got to have, and just this week finally decided to go for it. ❤️
I am curious on how I should approach this and interested in some different opinions. Obviously our wedding won't be "traditional" and something about trying to treat it as such with a big wedding party and bachelor/bachelorette parties feels odd to me.
Would love to hear your thoughts!

While you are already officially married, I would suggest doing a vow renewal ceremony instead.

Definitely agree with a vow renewal or anniversary party. Celebrate your love with your family and friends but I wouldn't label it a wedding. I would skip the shower and bachelor/ette parties. That said if you want to wear a gorgeous white dress go for it! Smiley heart
