Water park

Would you wear your engagement ring at a water park? We are going tomorrow and part of me doesn’t want to take it off but I also cant imagine losing it. I have heard people wear their engagement ring all day every day and never take it off. Mine fits snugly even when I wash my hands. Thoughts?

I would definitely take it off if I was going in any kind of water. FH and I went to the lake this weekend, and I took it off when we went canoeing even though I knew I wasn't going to get in the lake just to be safe.

I would recommend taking it off. You would be heart broken if it fell off or slipped off because of the water. Why risk it? Keep it safe at home and slide it back on when you get home.

I never take mine off, except when I am cooking and need to use my hands for mixing, otherwise it never comes off.

We have been to amusement parks, water parks, camping, and so much more and I have never felt the need to take it off. My ring fits great with no chance of it just sliding off. I would say if you are unsure and it doesn't fit well, then take it off or buy a sizer for it.

I take my ring off while in the shower. Also, when we went to kalahari, I took my ring off and put it in the safe in the room. I’d rather not lose it! Don’t chance it!

Take it off! I take mine off during work (medical office), sleeping, showering, swimming, working out, and cleaning. I wear silicone bands in place of my actual ring. I bought a multi pack from Amazon. I know that chemicals in cleaning products can damage the ring over time.

I would be soooo worried! I don’t wear mine at the pool or anywhere active. But I also panic for a moment when I realize I don’t have it on 😅 I wanna get one of those silicone wedding bands for when I’m not wearing my ring—like hiking, swimming, the gym, etc. and FH is going to get one to wear to work since his job is very active.

Not worth it. I have never taken mine off, but I did when we went camping. Even though it fits snugly all the time, I still left it at home. My dad lost his wedding ring while gutting a fish in the lake - never took it off, never lost it before, gutted tons of fish. All it takes is one time. Also, there's a lot going on at water parks. You could bump it and loosen one of the prongs while going down a slide -- not notice that the stone is missing until you look @ it and by that time you're e**ed - talk about finding a needle in a haystack. As long as you and your fiancee know you're engaged you're fine to go without a ring.

I have a qalo (rubber) ring that I use for something like that. That way I dont feel naked but I don't have to worry about loosing it. I also use it when I workout and when we have port days when we go on cruises (just an extra precaution to make myself not a target)
