I purchased a Marisa953 gown back in July 2014 and waited months for the dress to come in. When it finally arrived, I took it back into my bedroom like an excited bride would do and immediately tried it on. Instantly, I could tell that this dress was not the dress I tried on at the store. It was made of terrible polyester material that was cheaply sewn together and the lining of the dress that was supposed to be "champagne" was very unimpressive gold colored polyester fabric. The dress was too short ( I am 5'7) and the lace was stitched on the dress lopsided. I immediately looked at the tag and it said "Made in China, 100% polyester". I contacted the store in which i ordered the dress from and the tag on the dress I had tried on said "Made in USA, 100% silk". Contacted Marisa- they confirmed this was their dress and they no longer make dresses in the U.S and they don't use silk for their gowns anymore. They store had to refund my money because Marisa refused! Beware of Marisa dresses
