Wardrobe Change?

Taylor, on January 28, 2020 at 6:26 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 19
Debating if I want to have a dress/jumpsuit change for the reception. If you did show me your outfit changes? Or tell me about why or why not? Haven’t fully made up my mind yet and I also don’t know where to look that isn’t hella expensive. I saw this BEAUTIFUL jumpsuit but it was $800 and not my size. (Size US16/18 or 1X)

I was going to do the same but decided against it. My dress was $900 and I refuse to only wear it for an hour. I plan to get every moments wear out of it. Not to mention I’ve spent hours preparing my look for THAT dress.

    Hi Taylor,
Congratulations, I'm changing into a second dress, so much easier for dancing and getting around the reception to greet guests, my dress is from jjshouse, style 105912, my bridesmaids are wearing this dress also, in the lilac color, and I will wear lavender! Good luck!

No change for me! I love my dress so much. The idea of having to take it off at the end of the night makes me sad.

I spent so much money on my dress that I was getting every minute I could out of it! I did not change and I was so comfortable all night long.

I hear you. I know I’ll be in my dress longer than just an hour. Probably closer to 6 because of pictures and things.

Thank you! And congratulations too! That dress is beautiful! I love my dress every since I was young my mother and I would watch “Say Yes To The Dress” and I also had a thought of wearing two or three different outfit. My dress had an over skirt that comes off and a small train on my actual dress and I don’t want anyone stepping on it or anything. So thank you for showing me your outfit change!

There’s a nightclub in the resort where we all plan to party after the reception. I plan to change for that. I am probably wearing this dress I found on fashion nova. They have tons of cute jumpsuits too and most of their clothing items are offered in a range of sizes. Wardrobe Change? 1

Yeah I’ve been looking in Etsy and FB I low key want a jumpsuit and put my wedding belt over it. Idk I have so many ideas but I’m also “plus size” so I don’t want to find anything too expensive. When you put wedding in the same sentence as plus size it equals money.

I bought a separate short dress for the reception just in case I get too warm since my dress has long sleeves. It was on sale and only spent around $30 on it so figured why not have a backup. The only difference from the pictures is that I removed the petticoat so it's not as full on the bottom. Plus then it'll give me the chance to show off my blingy shoes Smiley smile Wardrobe Change? 2

I didn't but I think that's a fabulous idea because you can move around easier in it during your reception

I changed into a different dress for my reception. It wasn't originally planned but I had a horrible wedding nightmare about my dress not fitting the day of the wedding so one day while I was out, I saw a more casual dress (for $20!) with a very similar style as my wedding dress that was beautiful and once I tried it on, I had to have it. I fully planned on just holding it as my back up dress in case but once some of my family saw me in it, they fell in love with it and insisted on I wear both of them so that is what I did. My wedding dress was so big and heavy that I was so happy to get out of it lol
