Walt Disney World honeymoon?

I recently confessed to my FH that I've always wanted a cliche Walt Disney World honeymoon and he said that would be amazing! Especially since Walt Disney World is where our relationship began. Anyone else looking to do a honeymoon in Walt Disney Wort or any of the other parks? What are you planning on doing while you're there? Why did you pick that destination?

We’re doing a bahama’s cruise out of Orlando so we’re Flying in early to do the parks for a couple of days! We so excited. FH hasn’t been to Disneyland since he was a little kid. He can’t decide which parks he wants to go to. We’ll probably do Harry Potter at universal and then it’s a toss up between animal kingdom and Epcot.

Yes, I am! He is but not as much of a fan as I am. We're both super excited to go to Harry Potter World and I told him that I will most likely dress up somehow haha.

We just got back last night!
Make sure you put its your honeymoon on your reservation and wear buttons. The more people that know, the more chances you have to get some pixidust. We got Champaign and dessert at Yachtmans steak house and chocolate covered strawberries and Champaign delivered to the room!
We Stayed at the boardwalk and the location was PERFECT! So close to EPCOT and Hollywood studios and lots of places to eat! There’s also some bars to hangout at too!
We didn’t go to the parks (except Harry Potter for a little while). We just relaxed and hung out at he hotel. We looked into a couples massage, they’re reasonable priced but the time we wanted wasn’t available.
If you want to do something different, look into a tour. Last year we did keys to the kingdom and it was really neat. Each park has them.
Make sure to book at least one nice dinner (California Grill, Ohana, Yatchmans steakhouse, etc) it gives you trip an extra special feel.
Disney can be so fast passed and hectic. Make sure you take time to literally do nothing. Me and my husband enjoyed time watching movies in the room and relaxing in the hot tub and it was perfect. As much as i wanted to go to the parks I am so glad we didn’t.
Another thing we did, we scheduled a park photo shoot in our wedding attire. It was an awesome experience. You take pictures in the park of your choosing before park open infront of your favorite attractions/back drops.

Definitely have it noted on your reservation that you are honeymooning Smiley smile make sure you always have your buttons on!

There are fireworks dessert parties and cruises that could be fun if you’re into that sort of thing. I’ve taken a Sea Raycer out before in the Seven Seas Lagoon, that was a lot of fun. So many nice restaurants at Disney Springs for dinners. Maybe get a cake or something at Amorette’s? You can also have things like cakes and other stuff sent to your room - check out Disney Floral and Gifts. There’s also a cake hotline I could get the number for if you’re interested. A stroll around the Boardwalk at night. Take a sunset safari at Animal Kingdom! Book a Fastpass for whatever time sunset is that day. You can also catch Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Poly Beach. Maybe dinner at Ohana and then dole whips and chill while you watch the fireworks over there lol I know someone mentioned the spa. There are two dinner shows, one at Fort Wilderness that people rave about and one at the Poly. A tour might be a good idea too, if you guys are interested in anything like that. A good one to start with is Behind The Seeds at Epcot. Very informative, very interesting, not too long, not very expensive, and you don’t need to care about gardening to like it, I promise. If you need anything else let me know. I can talk about Disney World all day, obviously 😆

We decided on Disney because the food and wine festival will be going on! I used to be an employee and the fiancé hasn’t been to Disney since he was 5 or so, so he’s experiencing a lot of it as an adult for the first time! Magic Kingdom will have a lot of the more “typical” Disney stuff, but other parks and the resorts have a lot to do, especially for a more adult experience. And see what events and festivals are happening when you go, they’re fun to take advantage of!
