Walking the aisle

Hello y’all. I know it sounds creepy, but when I was listening to the chosen song and trying to picture myself walking on my wedding, I started crying. How do you not cry on your actual wedding? I don’t wanna change the song. It’s Lover by Taylor S. Also, should I switch it the instrument to piano from Violin?

Love your song choice! I was the exact same way every time I listened to the song. However, I did not cry when I walked down the aisle. I think the excitement took over and seeing everyone there made me happy and not sad.

Well I tried not cry but it's a emotional that is connected to our heart. So 2 factors that for that will happen. 1. The song that you have chosen to walk down the aisle and 2. Is when your groom see you standing there and your song begins. The flood gates opens lol I tired not crying either but I was so emotional that day. For that it was my wedding day getting ready anguish to see my groom but we haven't seen other for a few weeks. And then saw my son that was in the Army I broke down then. Then see him there crying murmuring words WOW! You look beautiful to me. So please if it happens let it

I'm struggling with this too! I have just been trying to practice walking and listening to it at the same time, imagining I'm walking down the aisle. All in the hopes that the more I do it, the more I'll become desensitized to it so I won't be bawling during the ceremony.

I ALWAYS cry at weddings (even if I don't really know the couple), so I swore I'd cry at our wedding when I was walking down the aisle or when my dad gave me away. I ended up being totally fine! I think I was just so filled with excitement seeing everything come together and all the people there supporting us. I think it also REALLY helped to just focus on my husband rather than looking at everyone there.
