Can you walk in from the side and just kind of be there? I guess it depends on your venue. My husband didn't want to walk down the aisle, so he and the groomsman were just there when the ceremony started. I don't see why both sides can't do that.

What is your reservation of walking down the aisle?? I generally do not like to be the center of attention but as soon as I started walking everyone melted away and the only person. I saw was my husband. You won't even notice your guests it that is your concern.

I'm glad you said that. I hate being the center of attention and I get really bad anxiety. I keep trying to tell myself it'll only be 20 seconds. I just dont want everyone starring at me!

I second this. I was nervous to walk down and be the center of attention, but as soon as I saw my husband, all I could see was him! It was very calming and exciting at the same time.
