I keep imagining this moment and it totally freaks me out. There's good advice here though!

I think we all have nerves about this - I already have butterflies about it! I'm hoping that my first look with FH earlier in the afternoon will let me get some of the nerves out so that I don't ugly cry walking down the aisle... but if he or my mom start crying, I know that I'm going to lose it

I was freaking out. The catering manager knew and brought me a glass of white wine right before I walked. I was talking to my dad as we were waiting and said "daddy, i'm freaking the FUCK out right now" and I never say fuck in front of my dad. When it was time, I just concentrated on walking slowly and holding him tight so I wouldn't fall in my 4" heels. I wish i could offer some better advice, just breathe and it'll be over before you know it.

It was super surreal, I thought I was going to cry but instead I had this massive grin on my face. But I was also shaking like a leaf. It was a crazy awesome cool feeling, one of my favourite memories from the whole wedding. You are not going to know how you will feel until you are there in the moment - whatever is, just go with it!

I worried about this too. But then on the day of our wedding I was just ready to get married. 6:00 pm hit and I was like lets do this! I was actually really excited. I did tear up a little bit when I looked at DH but not like I had anticipated. I think a few glasses of champagne helped calm me too.

Edited to add: I honestly think the next day I was more of an emotional wreck. When we started going through all our cards and gifts and I was just thinking wow that was a huge night for us and it went by so fast there was hardly time to process it.

I really fear that I will trip down the aisle which is one of the reasons I'm not wearing heels and I have a Tea length dress, so I can't get caught in it.

I'm happy that it went well for the girls that already did it and this gives me more confidence.

I'm super nervous about it! I've had a fellow bride tell me to stop at the beginning of the aisle for a dramatic pause & to also take a moment to breathe before the walk. When she did this at her wedding it was seriously like a movie! I could have cried just at that. So I'm hoping that I remember to take a moment before the walk and take it all in.

I'm terrified that I'll be ugly crying the whole way down the aisle. Everything I hear the potential processional, I start tearing up...

I was SUPER nervous, too. As my BM's were getting lined up to leave the room, I panicked! I felt like my legs were bricks! That being said- as soon as I saw my Dad, and heard the music start (and a few of my friends were standing out front wiggling their arms and legs, trying to be funny! totally appreciated) It just felt so right. All my nerves went right out the window when I saw my DH at the end. You will have moments of nervousness and possibly panic, but in the end it is totally worth it. I also tried very hard not to cry during our vows, my DH did very well...he choked up a bit when my Dad hugged him after handing me to him. I only weeped a little bit right before the rings while saying "for the rest of our lives" It really is such a beautiful moment, just enjoy it, the nerves will be over before you know it. And hey, if you cry, you cry! I guarantee you there will be people in the audience crying tears of joy right along with you. Good luck!!
