Walking down the aisle alone

So I’m an older bride 45, both my parents are deceased, I literally just thought about this, yes, 13 days before the big day, I’d like to hear some ideas of what I could do, or should I walk alone? kinda sad now that I think about it. Thanks

My best friend walked by herself and it was beautiful. Her dad was there, but they have never really had a great relationship, her mom had sadly passed by then, and her brother was her "man of honor" along with me as MOH. I found it very touching and it showed her strength and being an independent woman going to meet up with her DH. I'm sure whatever you choose will feel right on the day just think about what you are going towards and focus on that.

I don't think it's a sad thing to walk alone. It's your big day and the people attending your wedding love and care about you right?

I'm 26 and I'm not sure about the who will walk me down the aisle either. My dad passed away two years ago and my mom is very sick. I have an older brother but we're not in contact with each other. I might consider my friend's dad who's been like a father figure to me since my dad's passing. But knowing me I'll probably just walk alone. I won't be sad since I know those who I love and have passed away will be with me.

I am a 43 year old bride and my Mom passed when I was 16 and my Dad last year. My nephew who is only 10 years younger than me is walking me down the aisle . Still hard for me knowing my Dad won’t be there . I never imagined not having him there . My nephew and I are going to dance to the song my Dad and I had always said we would use , Holes in the Floor of heaven in honor of my Mom
