Walking down aisle

Usually parents walk together...or usher can do it...its up to you, no right or wrong way

My 2 sons are walking my mom down the aisle. In my 1st marriage, my brother walked her.

I plan on having my younger brother, who is also my fiance's Best Man, walk my mom down the aisle so she's not walking down alone

My mom has a husband who is not my father, so he will do it.

For my processional:

1) Mom/brother

2) FH's parents

3) MOH (I didn't have any other bridesmaids/groomsmen. Best Man waited w/Groom @ altar)

4) Bride/Dad

I think you can have anyone you want to honor to escort your mother- relative, godparent, close family friend, usher, groomsman, etc. You can also ask your officiant for suggestions.

What if you dont have a brother or ushers? My brother passed away last yr and we are not having ushers. does she just walk down there by herself?

@Dana - I'd ask your groom to walk her down. she's an important person that day and should get a little extra spotlight. My groom will escort his mom, then return up the isle, and escort my mom, and then he'll remain at the alter, then the bridal party will process. (our family tradition is MOB is last one before bridal party).

I do like the suggestion above from @Nas - ask her what she prefers. (my mom is so vocal, so I don't have to ask).
