Walgreens/walmart Invitations

Marissa, on August 19, 2019 at 2:25 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

Anyone order invitations from Walgreens or Walmart? I've scoured all the wedding invitation sites and I'm too picky to find something I like! However, I do like some of the ones on Walgreens' website because they're simple and don't look too "corny." I would also consider Walmart as well because my sister recently had invitations printed for an event there and they came out really lovely.

Just wondering everyone's experiences if they've used these sites/stores for their invites, pros/cons, and pics if you have them! Smiley smile

We used Zazzle and ordered during a 50% off sale!

We got our Save the Dates from Walgreens and were super pleased with how they turned out!

Edit: Also Walgreens has sales almost constantly so if you haven't already sign up to get emails from them!

Also, another option would be to look on Etsy (and other sites) for wedding invitation templates! That is what I ended up doing. Bought the template from Etsy, which she customized for me for $30, then had them printed at a local print shop (not a chain like Staples, I found the mom-and-pop ones to be way cheaper). It was $40 to print 65 invites and 65 RSVP cards on fancy cardstock! So $70 total, about $130 total with envelopes (from Amazon) and stamps!

We did our invitations through Walmart. They had a style that was very us and didn't cost much, we even got our return address printed on the envelopes. Just make sure you proof twice. We added an extra space which ended up being no big deal but it hurt me to see it.

I made my save the dates through walmart. We are having a small intimate wedding with close family only(our parents and his grandma). I think for 5 Save the dates it was 4 something. I just chose regular photo paper instead of card stock. I can get a better photo when I get home.

We ordered through Zazzle but craft stores like Michaels and Hobby Lobby have gorgeous invitations for an affordable price! It was only like $10 on sale and then you just have them printed at an office or print store.

For our invitations I'm probably going to use shutterfly. I found an app that you can make your own invitations and save them. We found one we both absolutely loved. I tried to print them off myself but had no luck.
