Waiting for Rsvps -- Fun Anticipation or Stress?

I just sent my invitations out on Friday and I'm already so eager for replies! No one is likely to have even received them but I'm still checking my email all the time for emails from Minted. FH and I keep joking about the fact that we can't believe not everyone has replied yet.

We sent out invitations super early (almost 12 weeks) at FH's insistence, so even if guests do get the invites, they have a ton of time to decide. It's just a fun time because now that the invitations are out it seems more REAL. I'm sure as the deadline gets closer I'll be more stressed.

Those of you who have sent invitations -- are you having fun waiting for replies or super stressed out?

    I loooove seeing the knots little "k" notification. I've had only 1 no, and that was already known. It's so exciting, especially having friends rsvp yes that we haven't seen in years.

    We did paper invites and response cards .... I was so obsessive I actually signed up for the USPS "informed delivery " service so I could see ahead of time what was coming in my mail. 😁😁

    It was so exciting to receive RSVPs for our wedding!! Most of them came in right at the RSVP deadline, but some of them started to slowly come in beginning around a day or two after we sent out the invitations.

    USPS took forever to deliver our invitations, so the majority of our guests didn’t receive them until 2-3 weeks after they were mailed. We did have a few people get them and RSVP right away, but oddly enough it was our parents and best man/maid of honor, so we already knew they were coming lol. It was exciting getting yeses from people we weren’t sure would come.

    Mine started coming in last week. I was THRILLED to have the first RSVP! It's so exciting to have people say yes. I'm also very interested for some reason in what people are going to be eating. I know everyone hasn't gotten their invitations yet, so I'm not stressed about the lack of responses so far.
