Vows

I wrote mine out many times, various drafts, until I had it perfect. I went on Etsy and bought vow booklets and wrote my final draft in it. Our officiant collected my book before going to start the ceremony, hubby had his tucked in his pocket. There are so many pretty vows booklets on Etsy, and you can get them personalized and customized as well. One thing our officiant was adamant about was NOT putting them on your phone to read at the ceremony.

I typed mine. Hubby hand wrote his. We didn’t get fancy vow books or anything. Just do whatever you’re most comfortable with.

I kept an email draft to keep track of my vows. Anytime I thought of something to add, I would edit the email. I continuously reworded it until I was happy with everything, and then once my vows were finalized, I wrote them into my vow book, which looked like this:

I typed and printed mine out because my handwriting is awful. My husband pulled out his phone and read them off it. 😆 I’m going to print both out nicely for our wedding scrapbook.

My FH and I emailed our vows separately, to our Officiant, not knowing what each others vows are, and our Officiant is printing them on a card for us.
