Vows

Tananda, on August 25, 2019 at 9:54 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4
I've yet to write my vows and have no idea how to get started. Please help!
How long should it be? What should I say?

Your vows can be as long or short as you'd like! Personal vows should come from the heart! Include any promises you'd like to make to your future spouse, as well as thank them for what they've done for you. Hope this helped a bit!

I worked on mine last night. I started with talking about how we met and how I felt about him. Then talked about what I love about him. Then wrote the actual things I vow to do. Got LOTS of inspiration from Pinterest and just wrote down things as I thought Of them.

Mine were about three minutes. But I was so nervous even though I had em printed in front of me I missed two lines.

I started by thinking about our relationship and how it came to be and all we've been through already. I then thought about the things I want to promise her, the honest and heartfelt things as well as a couple of silly things only we will get. I think mine will last 3-4 minutes but unless you're writing 20 minutes worth of vows, there is no time requirement.
