Vow Renewals

A really good family friend of mine had a vow renewal in the Caribbean last year. It was a lot of fun and it was their 20th anniversary.

I'm currently planning my vow renewal. We just celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary on 12/25/2020 and will be having our vow renewal on 12/25/2021. We didn't have a wedding, just a very short and simple last minute ceremony, so we're going all out and having the wedding we didn't get to have the first time around!

I've attended 2 renewals as a guest. One was a 50 year where the couple did the full ballgown, light lunch, etc. It was beautiful and fun.


The other was a military couple in their teens where they had married at the courthouse a month prior. Parents told everyone it was the actual wedding after mentioning the elopement multiple times prior so guests were not happy to be lied to. But it was a nice event with lunch from Costco platters.

This is common within our circle 😍 , to renew vows with a big celebration, as the family grows and goes through seasons as the years pass ❣️
