Vow Renewal

Samantha, on August 17, 2020 at 10:00 PM Posted in Planning 0 4
Ok so my husband and I got married October 7th, 2017 but have been together since May 2016. I want to do a vow renewal next year when it's 5 years together but 4 years married. Is that too soon to do a renewal? This year we've had a lot of ups and downs so I feel like we need to reaffirm each other that no matter what, we are still in it for the long haul!

I saw people do vow renewal as early as after a year of marriage. 2 years ago we had a very rough patch and I decided to file divorce and separated for weeks. Long story short, I gave him a second chance, and he proposed again. We are married for 23 years, but with this covid postponement we might do it after 24 or 25 of marriage 🤪.

Do it as you think you guys need and want it.

Do it whenever you want. Dont worry if people thinks it's weird. Honestly, life gets crazy sometimes and I think it's a good idea to reaffirm your vows every so often.

Tee hee. We got married March 2017 and I want to do a vow renewal on our 5th anniversary! Do it whenever it feels right to you.
