Vow renewal officiant

Rachel, on May 18, 2019 at 4:45 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4
For anyone having or has been to a vow renewal, did you use the “officiant” title for the person leading the ceremony? We’re having a non ordained friend do the “officiant” role...I just wasn’t sure if calling him the officiant would be odd if we’re already official 🤷🏼‍♀️

Still that person is officiating the renewal ceremony. I can't think of a better word.

I was just reading Reddit, and somebody used the term celebrant, that may be a bit religious, but thought it might work for you.

I think officiant is fine for this role Rachel! Just because you are already married doesn't mean that they are not officiating your renewalSmiley laugh
