Vow renewal during our postponed Honeymoon???

I’m looking for some opinions/recommendations…


Husband and I got married on 10/29/21. The ceremony and reception were wonderful! The day was absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t change a thing at all! (Covid tests and vaccines were done before and not one person got sick ❤️❤️)
The thing that makes me a bit sad is that we decided to postpone our Honeymoon to Hawaii until October of 2022. I know it’s a small thing and really all that matters is that my husband and I got married in a beautiful ceremony and all our friends and family were able to be there to celebrate with us. But I really would like to do something special during our Honeymoon next year. Hawaii is really special to us, it was our first vacation as a couple and we decided to always go back every year.
I really love the idea of saying a few words to each other on the beach. We got married in our church and we weren’t able to write our own vows.
Does this sound like a stupid idea? I don’t really see it as a renewal, but more like a special anniversary moment on the beach.
What do you lovely lads and ladies think???
