I have a little dilemma, my husband and I are renewing our vows this summer in San Diego, yay! Our date is 08/15/15 and we will be celebrating 20 years of marriage. I only really have one snag in my planning, its the day-of-timeline. When I first started planning I was so excited that I booked our venue right away (5:00 pm-10:00 pm) but I didn't think of the fact that I wanted a Sunset ceremony. Our venue has a 10:00pm noise ordinance so the DJ will stop playing then which normally wouldn't be a problem but if I trully want a sunset ceremony I have an issue. So I've considered having the ceremony after the reception so I could have the ceremony at sunset like I originally envisioned it but doing that will cut the time at the reception or change it. Should I still have that sunset ceremony I want but waste (not the best term) about an hour and a half from the reception? I could start the reception at 2pm and end it at 7pm (was told sunset time) not sure I want to party during the day.
