Vow Placement -- Physical placement of paper vows

I have a weird question, but since my wedding is 3 days away and I haven't sorted it out yet, I figured I would ask. For those of you who wrote your own vows, where did you put your vow book until you recited them? I'm not sure what FH is writing his on, but I have mine on stylized cardstock and I have NO idea where I am supposed to store them until it's my turn other than having the officiant take them before hand. Any advice????

You can either have the officiant or even someone in your bridal party/parent (if they are sitting in the first row) hold them until it is time for you to read them!

I agree with Yasmine's suggestion! I am planning on giving our vow books to our officiant to hold onto until it's time to read them.

I gave mine to the officiant. That's been the standard at all the weddings I've been to.

Our officiant grabbed them from us just before the ceremony and held on to them until it was time for us to read them.

I'm thinking the same. Hand it off ahead of time to either the officiant or bridal party member (most likely MOH who will be closest to you).

The officiant took them from us before the ceremony and gave each one of vows when the time came.

Most of the weddings I've been to with custom vows the officiant held onto them (or for the groom, they sometimes put in their suit jacket pocket)
