Hey ladies! So, I live in Colorado and am planning a wedding for next August in Long Beach. I was at Safeway today (which is Vons to you) and the lady from the floral dept. started telling me about all the wonderful wedding packages they offer. They said they're typically half the price of a florist, and just as beautiful. Everything is customized. Has anyone had any experience with this or know anyone who has?

My niece had a "deal" with the florist in a Ralph's supermarket. Two week before the wedding the lady backed out. We are located in Long Beach and can offer you excellant pricing. It is Safeway on the west coast, and I would never go to them, for a wedding.
Seriously, find a real florist.

I wasn't able to find reviews for the Safeway in Long Beach online, but several other Safeways seemed to have quite high ratings on the Wedding Wire vendor reviews. You might also check out this report from a bride who used Whole Foods.

Ooh and to everyone out there... I apologize if it's Safeway out there as well. Not trying to confuse anyone. I thought it was Vons because that's what it says on their website. It shows no Safeway's in Long Beach.

I have heard some good feedback about Safeway's wedding flowers. You can google safeway wedding flowers and send them an email, which gets redirected to the Safeway in you area. Congrats on your August 2011 wedding!
