Vistaprint Ultra Thick Matte Paper

Bride2B, on March 22, 2018 at 2:15 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 8

Hi there! I'm a paper snob with a frugal budget. Just wondering if anyone created their wedding invites on Vistaprint with their Ultra Thick Matte paper? According to the website the paper has quite a bit of weight to it with 32pt. TIA!

Hey, I haven't done my invites yet but I did get their free wedding sample kit and I just pulled it out and there is a 5x7 of the ultra thick matte in there. You should order the sample kit unless you're under a time crunch so you know if it meets your standards Smiley smile it seems really thick to me, like cardboard.

I really love the linen finish. They are heavy and matte finish without being too stiff.

How much did the sample kit cost?

I ordered the linen paper and it’s perfect. Has a nice texture which makes it feel a little more formal than flat paper and it’s prerty thick.

Definitely order the sample kit. It's worth the wait if your have time. We were referring to the sample kit as we ordered our invites to be sure we liked the paper.

I'm not really super picky about my wedding invites or anything (partly because I know what I do with invitations after the date has passed) so I made my own on vistaprint! I actually made my invitations as "holiday cards" because they were so much cheaper. I made my Rehearsal dinner invitations under "postcards" because they are also super cheap! I liked doing it and all of mine turned out fine. Saved a ton of money by taking the word "wedding" out of the name! Plus you get to customize however you want.
