Videographer

I don’t have any specific recommendations in the area but I’ll tell you that I am SO glad we had a videographer. We originally decided against it but throughout our entire engagement I was honestly stressed and upset about it. Then 6 weeks before the wedding I couldn’t take it anymore and just booked one (thankfully he was still available). I’ve watched it a handful of times, I’m sure will be less and less as time goes by, but it’s honestly a priceless memory to have even if you do only watch it every few years. It captures your day and allows you to relive it in a way that photos just can’t.

Also, in terms of finding a videographer, I recommend talking to your photographer maybe and seeing if there’s someone they generally like to work with?

I used wedding bug. I'm pretty sure they are all over the east coast. We are getting 6 hours of video, all the raw footage and a USB with a 5 minute highlight type clip of the day and spending about $1,100 with taxes included. I would look into them and all the reviews I have seen have been great!

Once you book with them you can go onto the website with your online account and pick different videos and pictures that you like so they can get a feel of the styles that you like and they will pair with a videographer that specifically fits your style. I think you may be able to do that before you book with them too. I'm not sure. My FH uncle used to work with a lot of the guys that are with wedding bug in Jersey and he said it's great and I will be more than pleased.
