Videographer

I reached out to him via email. We live several hours from where our wedding was so after talking with him via email, we signed our contract with him. We did meet with him in person once, but I honestly felt like the meeting was pointless because he just asked us a bunch of questions that we pretty much already answered in the questionnaire he emailed to me. We haven't received our video yet so I can't speak on how it turned out.

I didnt meet with the videographer. I told him what I wanted. We discussed price. I signed the contract and sent payment. He came the morning of the wedding to cover the wedding. We got or video back and loved it.

We met in person to interview the videographer we were consider hiring. We looked at packages and the contract and got to know each other and each others visions / style. For me it was important to meet in person so we could make sure we gelled with the videographer - they would be with us in our getting ready rooms after all and video was very important to me.


After we signed the contract and paid a deposit, we planned to meet again around a month ahead of the wedding to confirm vision and details again. We booked our videographer about nine months before the wedding, so she was of course available by phone, email or otherwise if we had any questions or wanted any advice or referrals from her. She was so awesome to work with.

We emailed through my wedding email & his website. We had two phone calls prior to booking. He had a ton of good reviews and a legitimate contract.
