Videographer

I think a great photographer (with a 2nd shooter, even if only for 1-2 hours) if the #1 priority. I can see if you plan on having kids, a wedding video would be nice.


My hubby & I were disappointed we didn’t hire one (we were way over-budget) but a year later not having a video didn’t bother us.

It depends on if you think you will want it. I’ve seen some folks say it is the #1 priority and they will spend a lot of money on a videographer. Personally, my fiancé and I couldn’t care less about having a video and we know we would never watch it, so we aren’t having one. It’s totally up to you 😊

I couldn’t afford it. I would have loved it. It was something I really wanted but I couldn’t justify the cost and how often I would watch it. I’m pro video if you can afford it - why not ?

My fiancé and I both have videography backgrounds so it was important for us to have one. He also did a “love story” shoot where he sat us down and basically interviewed us about how we met, our feelings, etc. I think it’ll be nice to have something to look back on to capture our thoughts and feelings at this stage of our relationship.

I am with you on this. My FH and I are not doing videography because we know we would never watch it, but recently I have been getting convinced by other people to do one.

It's not if you don't have the funds for it. But if you do I think it would be nice

If I had more money to justify it, I probably would have got one. But honestly, we put money to more important things.
