Does anyone have any recommendations for decently priced, basic videographers in SLC? You know, ones that charge me $600 for 3-5 mins worth of film? In all honesty, I don't actually want a videographer for my wedding. But my mom really wants me to get one since hers was recorded over by my dad. She's regretted it ever since and she thinks I'll regret not having one at all.

I'm not in that area, but have you tried using Thumbtack? That's how we found our videographer. If you're not into the idea though, I'm not sure you need to shell out the cash for your mom's sake. You could always ask a friend with a camcorder or phone to record the ceremony if you just want footage of that.
