Danielle, on July 20, 2018 at 10:28 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

Hello!

Do you send your videographer a wedding invitation?

Who do you all send them to? I know photographer is the obvious one.

Thank you!

Do you mean to film/photograph? Yes, you should give one to the photographer and videographer. Shortly before the wedding, they should be giving you a questionnaire to fill out where you will provide a "shot list" of the formal pictures you want, the moments you want captured, etc. If they don't ask you for an invitation suite and you want it photographed/filmed, be sure to tell them that. You can bring your invite suite with you to the wedding to give to them or they may want it before hand.

My photographer asked me to bring it to the wedding and I forgot. He graciously let me mail it to him after the wedding and he took pictures in his apartment using 2 different backdrops.

I just brought my invitation suite to the venue with me the morning of. Both my photographer and videographer asked me to have whatever detail shots like invitations, jewelry, dress, shoes, rings etc... laid out so they could get those shots as soon as they arrived.

They're not guests so you don't send your vendors one. You do contact them to make sure they know all the information (location, date, time, etc.), and if you can, you offer them a vendor meal based on the menu you're feeing your guests. Either way, you pay for their meal.

In terms of photography, bring your invitation suite, and if you have a pocket/belly band/ribbon, a fully put together invitation.
