🤯 At first I decide to go with pictures of my entire wedding and for that my husband (legally married already) and I decide to hired a professional photographer for our religious wedding next month. 🙄 As you may all know constantly we are in the media looking for new ideas for our weddint. 🤦‍♀️ I really think is the worts thing to do, if you are all set. But anyways I'm having second thoughts about it and cant decide to add the video, my husband told me "not to stress about that all our family we be in their phone and probably will recorde everything" What do you guys think? 🤔😥 I will be over budget but at this moment I dont care. Please Help

I decided against having a videographer, but some people have it as one of their top priorities. My reasoning is while I think it's a nice idea and some of the videos are really great, I'm probably hardly ever going to watch it again after the initial newlyweds phase and it's a lot of money that I can't justify for that. The pictures are the most important thing to me, those will be in photo albums, on social media, and framed throughout the house so we'll see them all the time! But that's just my two cents for the skipping the videographer side Smiley smile

We are doing it the same way as you - but now I am also second guessing myself. We were going to ask guests not to video during the ceremony so that the pictures don't show a bunch of people holding up cameras.

What I may do is buy a camcorder at best buy for like $300 and ask one person to video.

A videographer was a priority for us, but I wouldn't have gone over budget for one.

A videographer was important to me, but my husband didn't care. We really didn't budget for one, but we had gone under budget on other things so we ended up having one. I feel like photos and videos are really the only things you have left at the wedding so I wanted one.

Having a videographer was the best decision we made! Our photos are so beautiful, but every time we watch our video (which at this point is just a highlight film. Waiting for full video) I cry. It is that amazing! I honestly couldn’t imagine not having one.

I think as long as you've got something to capture the moment then it's all good. Video does cost a lot and is nice but if it's too much over your budget then I'd just nix it

We opted for both photographer and videographer. We decided a videographer was important for us because we will be so swept up in the day, we probably won't remember half of it (I also have a terrible memory). In addition, I would love to rewatch the video every year on our anniversary and have it for our kids to see as well at some point in their lives. It just depends on what is most important to you and your husband!
