I would (after a drink or two-- camera shy!)! This is such a cute idea! Make sure to back it up to the cloud though ☁️

I like the idea, but I would worry that some of the older, less "tech savvy" guests wouldn't be able to figure it out. My grandma, for instance, never touched a computer in her life, and she had a flip phone circa 2000 until the day she passed away, lol.

That is a super cute idea! I would probably make sure to set the iPad up in an area that's like away from too much noise so the voices are heard clearly. Maybe like a mock photobooth-type area so people who are camera shy don't have to worry about people watching them record a message? (This would be my FH for sure, he'd probably skip leaving a message if he knew he was being watched by other people).

I think its a cute idea! It would be nice to look back and watch the video years down the road similar to a wedding video.

I would! I love this idea, I wanted to do it but our venue included a photo booth so I thought the video would be too much. Do you have a lot of young people coming? I would assume young people would more than older. Maybe during cocktail hour or the reception, you could encourage your wedding party to ask people if they left a message? And tell them to lead people over and show them how to use it?

I went to a wedding with this. It was awesome! We had a blast with it. I made a hilarious video with the bride’s gramma and I know she loved watching a lot of friends and family.
However...after a night of drinking there was also a bit of nudity on film as well as other embarrassing moments from guests. It made me too nervous to do something like this!

My FH and I will be doing this at our wedding! I'm so excited and I'm even more excited for our friends' messages after they've had a few (wink), haha. I think as long as there is someone there to assist the older guests you'll be fine. There are also companies that have apps designed specifically for this. so you may not even need someone to be tech savvy, just press a button on the ipad and speak.

I have never heard of this but I LOVE IT!! It would mean so much more to me to hear my grandparents speaking than to read.

Honestly, I wouldn't leave a message. I wouldn't know what to say and would feel too awkward.

This is such a cool idea -- definitely will consider using one of these apps, as we are not having a videographer or a photobooth.
