Hi brides, when we received our wedding video we hated the songs the editor chose (we did not get asked for songs we wanted) and the ending was literally just the screen went black. We called the company and they were very kind and asked for songs we wanted and changed it... along with the ending which we still hate it is an up close video of the end of the night where we look so sweaty! so i called again to see if we can just swap the songs we love the ones they put just want to change the places they were put.. and the ending. The women said that at this point we would have to be charged and i said i did not mind i just want the video perfect..... i wanted to know if this happened to anyone before, should we be getting charged? and how much have you been/would you think it will cost? thank you

They changed it once for free, right?
I can see how, with this extra change, they would start to charge. While they should have asked you about the songs the first time, they are now on edit 3.
How many edits did your contract allow?

Hi there I guess yes this would be edit 3, there is no stipulation in the contract about edit amounts.... I don’t really mind paying extra but than I’m nervous what if I say change these songs and they change a scene or something?

Hi there! I know when I was booking my videographer I asked if I could make any edits to the finished product and they definitely hesitated!! Their policy was that if there was a small quick thing that was really important they could make a change, but they were also clear it wouldn't be a collaborative back-and-forth process! 😉
Since these are additional edits beyond the original agreement I can see why they are charging an additional fee. Like Rebecca said I'd try to have this be the last one and be super clear about how you'd like the video to end! If there's a different moment you'd like them to zoom in or out on let them know, or you could even share an example ending from another one of their videos that you like!
