Hi there,

Does anyone have ideas of where I can order a sage waistcoat/vest for my groom? We are keeping it casual so I'm not ordering a full tuxedo, we just bought him pants and a shirt, but I'd really like a vest. Ideally I like something that's not silk. A google search hasn't generated much but maybe I'm not using the right terms? I've found custom tie places but nothing for vests.

You can just rent these from a tux store without the suit/tuxes. Someone on etsy or locally can make them, vests are really easy to sew.

The vests they rent at tuxedo rental places are not meant to be worn alone. They have that cheap thin lining on the back for a reason-to decrease the bulk under a jacket.
May I ask why you want sage?
