The Internet tells me that millennials are killing the diamond industry, but every discussion I see about rings is all diamonds.
Is anybody opting-out of the whole diamond thing? Anybody going for a silicone ring or some other non-metal or a more humane and/or environmentally friendly option?
I love the idea that the commitment of marriage is a decision you make every day. That you must keep recommitting to the life you've chosen. So when we have to replace our rings it's just another chance to reiterate our commitment to each other.
One of our colors is antique brass, so this is the ring that we will be exchanging on our wedding day.

And I'm an outdoorsy girl and I've seen someone lose a finger because they were wearing a metal ring so a metal wedding band was always gonna be a NO for me.
