Vera Wang sample dress length ?

Hi everyone! I have a tall people problem. So I’m 6’1 and I’m trying to figure out the length of Vera Wang sample dresses to decide if it’s worth waiting for her sample sale in NY this winter. I’ve already seen some of VW sample dresses being sold online by salons, they claim the length is 59” or sometimes 61”. I’ve tried on some of VW dresses including VW white and they all were pretty long to me, but I don’t know their length. Plus My hollow to hem with shoes is 62”, which makes me even more confused because it’s longer than the dress length. So maybe someone knows which length VW retails in her salons and help me decide to go or not to go to NY!
PS Vera Wang gown is my dream, I fell in love with the quality of her dresses the moment I tried it on. But of course I can’t afford it, so the sample sale is the only option for my dream to come true! Vera Wang sample dress length ? 1

That dress is amazing on you! Wait for it. I don’t know Vera Wang sizing but just figure out the shoes based on the dress length. Keep us posted.

I agree about contacting your local salon for more specific info about Vera Wang. I can tell you, daughter is 5'11" and her Maggie Sottero a-line ballgown was exactly the right length for her, direct from the manufacturer, unhemmed, wearing Converse. It barely grazed the floor. It came with an attached crinoline that made it a bit poofy, but she did not add an additional slip. Good luck!

If you LOVE Vera Wang but cannot afford full retail you should also consider websites like StillWhite, Preowned Wedding Dresses.com, and OnceWed. Even if you don't want a previously worn gown, I have seen brides selling new, unaltered dresses on there (usually when a bride buys a dress and then decides on a different style or the venue changes). Worth a shot!

Hi all! I bought a sample dress from a store that stopped carrying VW and is selling out all samples. VW Sample dresses at the VW stores are 61” long, other stores usually carry 59”. So my dress is also 59” and it’s just fine with flats. But I don’t mind it, I’m already tall 🙃 Also when I called VW store in New York I asked about the sample sale, and they said not this year for sure, maybe in the spring. So I decided not to wait and found my dress on the pre-owned wedding dress website! I can tell more about the store, dresses they still have and prices if anyone interested
