Vendor meals

If the vendor doesn't specify in the contract whether or not they require a meal, should I still count one for them, or at least ask? Some of my vendors have it in the contract and some don't. I don't want some to have a meal and others not to, just because it isn't in the contract. Also, I have one...

If the vendor doesn't specify in the contract whether or not they require a meal, should I still count one for them, or at least ask? Some of my vendors have it in the contract and some don't. I don't want some to have a meal and others not to, just because it isn't in the contract. Also, I have one vendor (photo booth) and the two of them are working four hours. They said they stay at the booth to make sure it runs smoothly, but should I ask them if they want a meal? Thanks for any help you can give!

    I am going with the rule: if they are there to see me eat then they get a meal.

    I'd ask. Most weddings here are buffets so the brides say they have plenty and tell all vendors that they are welcome to eat. When a meal is offered and its not required by contract most vendors are very thankful for it.

    I think anyone who will be staying through the reception should have a meal.

    Yeah. I'd feed everyone that is there for the reception, that being said I wouldn't suggest slapping the hand of your hairstylist/mua if they take some nibbles off your brunch buffet if you have one while getting ready Smiley winking

    We're feeding our two DJs and the bartender (who is working for free) because they will be there all night. I would just buy their meals.
