Vendor gifts

I saw something that a photographer friend posted on Facebook about gifts for the photographer. (And other vendors) do I get them gifts and or tip them? I am of course already paying my photographer it's not a friend doing it for free just curious to know what's expected of me as a client.

I don't expect a tip. However, when I get one, I happily share it with my second shooter and my assistant. All three of us are very appreciative. I have received some beautiful gifts (chocolate basket, wine basket, my favorite Jelly Bellies) when my clients have received their albums. And again, we are so appreciative. We try to go above and beyond with every client, and it's always nice when it gets noticed. But we never expect it.

The best tip to give a vendor is an honest, heartfelt review and/or thank you note! How nice of you to look into it! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.
