Vender absence

Anyine have a problem with creditable venders not returning emails ask for their services? I have so many venues and caterers that will not respond. And it's to the first "hi, we're getting married this date could you tell us more about you" message. These are venders that have high ratings, have won awards from wedding wire, and come highly recommended. Just curious if anyone else had this problem.

    Try contacting them directly through their website or phone number. They don’t all check WW frequently

    I have. I have not contacted anyone thru Wedding Wire tho.
    It was a super easy way to cross off some venues I was considering.
    If you're serious about them tho, you might try calling or emailing them more specific questions.

    This happened to me a lot. It makes me mad because the message says seen so I know they saw it. I just move on to someone else who does want my money.

    I only had this problem with a couple, most got back to me ASAP. I emailed the venue directly, and asked specifically for rate sheets and package information.

    More than a few. Bonus for the ones who DO reply back, but clearly didn't bother to read any of my information, they simply took my name and email and then asked all the questions I'd already answered.

    This has happened to me in the past too when I was venue hunting. Some places seem to be more responsive with phone calls vs email for some reason. It could be possibly something like that going on.
