Veils

Ok ladies what is the history behind the wedding Veil? I have heard that if you wear a cathedral that you can hold it with your two pinkies, and wrap it around you sort of. And while your at the table you wrap it around you and your grooms chair, and around you baby crib for your first born? Anyone else heard this?

Well, you're pretty much going to find the same information everywhere else.

I HAVE heard of the drape it around the crib, but it's not so much a tradition as a use for it after the wedding, as I've heard of people making christening gowns with their dress/veil/etc.

Wikipedia has a section on wedding veils and talks a bit more about the traditions in Judaism which are different than what is/was typically done within Christianity.
