Veils with low updos

I had mine tucked under so that you could actually see the updo I paid $100 for. I really liked how it looked :-)

I did a veil with a low-ish bun, and had the veil over it. I loved it. I tried messing around with different looks before the wedding, and for my own head shape it looked and felt kinda weird to have the veil under the bun. But that's just me!

I did over the bun. I don't have a lot of pics yet but you can kinda see the idea here.

I had a braided low-do(??) and a veil. I loved it.

I need to make the same decision! Right now I'm leaning toward having the veil come out from above my hair.

I had a low updo with the veil on top. I really dislike it coming out from the bottom. But that's just me.

I took the veil off after cocktail hour because it kept snagging on my dress. Original plan was take it off after the father daughter dance.

When you took your veils off, did you replace with a hair comb or something? I've been keeping an eye out for a comb or hairpiece I like, cause I feel like I'll want *something* in my hair all night.

Also MusicTeacher I'm super jealous of how well you rock bangs! I love bangs - on other people. I've tried them a few times in my life and it's just never good lol.

I think it can be worn however .. this is my second wedding.. my first I wore it under the bun .. this time I'm thinking hair down

I had a sparkly headband. So I didn't swap my veil out with anything. I found a better photo. You can see the veil and headband here.

I bought a comb off of Etsy that I'll throw in when I take my veil off. I'm in the same boat, I wanted something in my hair the whole time

Haha thanks Steph! I have only grown my bangs out once since childhood and I just don't feel the same without them!

I actually kept my veil on all night (it only went to my elbows). However I like your idea of replacing it with a comb! When we were greeting family, the veil got annoying with people hugging me and pulling on it accidentally!
