Veil

Rachel, on December 17, 2019 at 11:47 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 3 37

Just curious, where did ya'll buy your veil at? And did you wear it through the whole ceremony and reception? Or remove it at some point?

There are a TON of good options on Etsy! I personally was recommended to Blanca Veils, so I'm having her make a custom veil for me to fit the vision I had. I'm planning on wearing mine through the pictures, then remove it for the ceremony. You can also check Amazon for a good deal on a veil.

I agree with Etsy! I bought my beautiful sweep length for $35 from Bridals by Teri. Heard good things here about Blanca Veils.

Getting my cape veil on Etsy as well. My mom's buying it for me for a Christmas present, so I haven't received it yet. It's going to be a cathedral length, so just wearing it for the pictures and ceremony

I ordered from Blanca Veils on Etsy. I took my veil off about halfway through cocktail hour photos.

I bought mine on Etsy this past weekend — definitely look there! I have heard some hit or miss things about JJs house as well, might want to check it out and look at product reviews too.

Most likely i’ll be wearing mine for ceremony and pictures!

Welcome to the community Rachel! Did you get to try on any veils in a bridal salon you visited? You can definitely start searching there for styles and lengths that you like. What is your dress like?

Etsy is a great place to browse for veils, as the pps have mentioned. You can also check online bridal stores!

I got mine at davids bridal. I fell in love with the beading, plus I knew it would match the shade of my dress. I only wore it for the ceremony and cocktail hour photos not for the reception.

I got my veil the same place I got my dress. I will most likely take it off between the ceremony and reception

I bought mine from Amazon Smiley smile Super affordable and just what I was looking for! I plan on wearing mine for the ceremony and after ceremony pictures. I'll probably take it off towards the end of pictures so I can get a few without it and then I won't be wearing it for the reception.

No ceremony yet but I bought mine from Alex Bridal off etsy and I paid under $50 for a fingertip mantilla style veil. Could not beat that price.

I also bought mine on Etsy and I love it! I wore it for the ceremony, pictures, and cocktail hour before changing it out for a crown of ivy and lily of the valley for my reception. It worked well for me.

I ordered a cathedral length one from JJs House online for $16 and it has great reviews! If anything I can try it on to see if I like the color & length Smiley smile

I bought mine from the bridal store where the dress came from. It’s a super simple veil that will be worn for the wedding only and for the reception I’ll wear a tiara.

Got mine off amazon for $13. It was a fingertip length. I wore it through the ceremony, and all group and formal photos. I took if off when I changed into my reception dress.

I bought mine on Amazon, only $15! Didn't want to spend a ton on something that won't be worn for a very long time. I plan to have it on for ceremony and some photos and then its coming off

Thank you Kathryn! I started my search on Etsy and was overwhelmed by the options so I'll start with Blanca Veils!

I was kind of thinking the same, taking it off after the ceremony

Samantha has been a GEM to work with. She helped me figure out what lace to order, then walked me through a custom design. I can't wait to get it - it should be gorgeous.
