Veil???

You can do something that's not a veil! I'm going to do a bird cage veil, or there's really beautiful small ones that you pin underneath a low bun.

I had similar concerns about a veil. Thought I was too curvy and old to wear one. Then I tried one on in my fitting and was sold. I am wondering if a waist length veil or even a cathedral that’s fairly long might work for you.

If you don't like the look of a veil of course you don't have to wear one. But please don't forego it because you think it makes you look bigger. The goal of your wedding day is to take up space and have alot of attention. A veil is iconic for a bride. It should accentuate and make you take up space and feel even more beautiful. You are beautiful and you deserve to feel special.

Only wear a veil if you want to, not because you feel you should. If you really want to then go for it! I understand worrying about your weight. I am in the same boat but don’t not wear one because you’re worried about that but also just make sure you’re comfortable wearing it. You’d hate to look back and not like your pictures because you forced yourself yourself to wear it

I'm plus size and in my 50's. You better believe I wore a veil! I took it off for the reception. If you want to wear it, try some on see what fits your style and which ones you love. But please don't not wear one because you think you're too big, too old, whatever. You're not! ps...the veil was less than $20 on Amazon lol

Obviously you don’t have to wear a veil if you don’t want to. I won’t be wearing one. Do whatever makes you feel beautiful because YOU ARE!!

I am a plus-size bride and a mom of 9 and I feel like the veil completes the look but if you don't want to wear one don't but if you are not wearing one because you think your too chubby then wear one you would be surprised at how amazing you look
