Perla, on February 8, 2016 at 10:41 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

I purchased my veil which was pretty expensive $500 to be exact. I purchased it from the same store as my dress and when got home i realized it did not have a comb clip attached to it. Is this normal ? now im frantic and don't know who would be able to add a clip for me !! help any suggestions

This is not a big deal. Buy a clip (Sally Beauty, CVS, Walgreens, your local drugstore/grocery store/Walmart) that matches your hair or is clear. Figure out where you want it to go and sew it on by hand with a few stitches that go through the veil and over the comb. Just use thread that matches the veil.

If you want the veil gathered, that's like one more step and a little more sewing. Big stitches through just the veil, then pull the threads to gather and stitch it onto the comb.

Is it a Matilla veil? I have seen some of those without a comb because they are one single piece that just covers half of your body.
