Hi, everyone! Looking for some input here! I posted in one of my last discussions that when I found my dress, I tried on a plain cathedral-length veil with it that didn’t really do anything for me. My gown doesn’t have any beading and only eyelet lace, so I want to go with a veil that has a touch of detailing to it to offset my gown. I came across a veil on Dareth Colburn that has some flecks of rose gold beading with the ivory beading that I think is stunning! My wedding rings and jewelry are rose gold (I’m only going to do some statement earrings and a rose gold hair vine with my gown) so I thought this could match perfectly. What do you think?

Thank you! Those are my thoughts exactly! I want something that can add a little bit of sparkle and detail especially since my dress is all lace!
Super pretty. I also love that you are picking up on the rose gold in your rings - its so much harder to find rose gold than gold or silver colored accessories.

And either a more lacey than net veil, or even a birdcage little veil with a statement piece of rose gold colors hair jewelry.

Yes! either more lace than net, or met with a lace applique, if long. or go very short lacy veil with hair jewelry. Not using a birdcage veil, but something bold, even a white mantilla lace. I think you have the right idea with your edging. but your overall look is bold and sassy. And fine net is delicate romance.

I think you’re right about your suggestions!! I just need to find the right kind of lace, I’m just worried about it clashing with my dress since it’s a very specific eyelet style. I do like the idea of a bolder lace edge, though!! ❤️❤️❤️
Or from a fabric store or online store, pick a 2 yard or preferably 3 yard piece of lace you like, from about $12 per yard ($36) to $30 per yard ($90 total). And jave a seamstress finish the edge at the length you want, attach it to any hair jewelry, and sew on ( not hot glue) inexpensive faceted or shaped crystal, as is in the hair jewelry, but small bits of sparkle here and there, rather than more design. You are getting a Hayley Paige, or looking, yes, the dress shown? You don't have to match lace, just stuff that looks good together. It you get a sample swatch of the dress lace, it will be easier picking lace fabric. or go with something all made.
What a gorgeous find!! I love the beaded details and how the trim gives some sparkle and ties in with your rose gold jewelry! 🤩
Do you know what length you're leaning towards? I really think a fingertip or elbow-length veil will give you the accent you're looking for while also not taking away from your dress's amazing train!
Beautiful!! The veil is going to tie in perfectly with your jewelry and add the perfect amount of bling!
I agree with Lynnie on the length for the veil! Those lengths will both be long enough to show off the detailing of the veil, but short enough to not overpower the train of your dress!
Hi, Alisha! Thank you so much!! I agree with you about the length of the veil! I think a cathedral length might be a little too much especially since my dress has a dramatic skirt/train. Unfortunately, the rose gold veil only comes in cathedral length so I’ve had to go back to the drawing board, but now I’m looking at this one! I love the look of the laced edges, I think it’s so beautiful!
