Veil with a shawl?

I got a strapless wedding gown. My sister says I look great without shawl. I am so self conscious on my arms and my back. I got a shawl to help take some of that attention off of my body. I am debating on if I should use the shawl, just get a veil, or if I could do both? It will be 90-100 degrees still come September.

Do you have pictures you could share?
I think whatever makes you feel comfortable and beautiful that day. I plan on wearing a veil! My second choice dress was strapless and if I would have went with that dress I would have worn a shawl and a veil for the ceremony.
Something like the below could work for both. It's long like a veil but also covers your arms.
Or the below.

That heat is too much to add a full illusion jacket. I love the style of the second shoulder covering that Molly posted.

I agree with Molly & Julie- the 2nd pic would add just a touch that I think you’re looking for. Your dress is gorgeous!

I think the extra fabric would make you miserable in that heat. I like Molly's suggestion.
