Veil vs no veil (beach Brides)

Hello Ashley: it's always windy at the beach.
However: a bird cage could be a good compromise and won't annoy you if you really want to wear a veil.

I didn't get married at a beach but have been to beach weddings. One I remember the bride fighting to keep hers under control most of the ceremony. The other I think the bride ditched hers before even walking into the ceremony.

I had a windy veil on the beach. It was OBNOXIOUS. I would’ve just pulled it out standing up there in front of everyone if I though I could do it easily, but I wasn’t confident in that so I grinned and bared it, but I spent the whole ceremony focused on trying to ignore it blowing/pulling. It was only a finger tip length veil for what it’s worth, and I have wondered if a longer veil would’ve been heavier and stayed out better, but who knows.


For what it’s worth it did not feel like a particularly windy day. Just a little breeze

I had a beach wedding and wore a veil! It made some of the prettiest pictures, like this one of my dad and I - it just wrapped right around him from the wind! I say, do it !!!

I am going with a shorter veil, elbow length. Hoping to be able to pin enough of it in a way that it wont be obnoxious. Without it, I am worried I wont get that bridal feel.
