Veil vs. Hair piece dilemma!

I bought a veil that matches my dress but in trying it on the lace trim keeps snagging the lace sleeves of my dress. In addition I have a hair piece I would really love to wear, but the hair dresser doesn't think there is room for me to wear both. I don't know what to do. Do I ditch the veil and do the hair piece, or do the veil without the hair piece although it snags on my dress? I would wear the hair piece all night, where as the veil would be off after the ceremony. I just feel like people may judge me if I don't do the veil. Ugh. Help!

    I'm not wearing a veil. Im wearing a hair piece instead. It's your wedding do whatever you like best.

    I don't know what kind of hair piece you have, but I'm wearing my veil for the ceremony and pictures, then taking out the veil and putting in a little hair piece. It's the best of both worlds Smiley smile

    Why do you think people will judge you for not wearing a veil? That's silly. Smiley smile It sounds like you don't want to wear the veil, so don't! You do you. <3

    This is one of those truly "you do you" situations. If my veil was snagging my dress, I wouldn't wear a veil.

    I'm wearing a veil for the ceremony and then switching to a headpiece for the reception. It's truly what you want. And if people judge, that's their problem, not yours.
