Veil too long for dress?

Lauryn, on December 15, 2016 at 10:46 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 64

I kind of like the illusion it gives with my dress! MOH says it's too long and should be same length as dress? What do yall think?

If you like it, get it! I have a long veil and a dress with no train. What you wear should be about what you like, not what other people think.

    ETA: Your veil is gorgeous

The veil being longer than the dress really only bothers me if it is a tea length dress. Plus, if it the same length as your dress you won't get to see the pretty details on the edge

Gorgeous! With long trains and veils, I believe the veil is supposed to extend at least a foot beyond the train.

Thanks everyone! I'm so in love with this veil and I was only hesitant to order it because of the length. My dress will be paid in full in January so I wanted to go ahead and get the veil with it but was unsure if it looked okay.

It's beautiful keep in mind what you will be walking on with your veil. Long veils on carpet tend to budget together by the end of the aisle and won't look as nice. If your on grass I believe it does the same thing. But as long as you have a smooth flat surface it will look amazing with the length you have it

I love it! The back of your dress is beautiful as well! My veil does is similar, it is longer than my dress.

I was googling this the other day and I think the internet said you're veil should be 6-12 inches longer than the train on your dress. I love that veil!
