Veil Style?

If you had or are wearing a dress with details, how detailed was/is the veil that you're wearing/wore? My dress has more details with beading and has a train. I am thinking that I want a cathedral-length veil but am unsure of how many details I want on the veil or if I want it plain.

My dress had a lot of beading, pearls, some lace, and 3D flowers and a 10ft train. My veil was tulle with pearls.

My dress has a looooott of beading, lace appliques, and paneling so i went with a really plain veil that just has a bit of beading around the bottom. I went fingertip length and with a blusher for religious significance (in Judiasm, part of the ceremony includes the groom lifting the veil to check he is marrying the correct bride - bibical story of Jacob marrying Leah and Rachel).

I'd say base your veil on the level of detail on your dress.

I think a simple cathedral style is a great way to have a dramatic effect without taking away from the detailing of your dress. Like this picture:

My dress is very plain. No beading or lace. So I want a pretty detailed veil. I think if your dress is very detailed go with a plainer veil

My dress has a lot of lace, but a very unique back with beaded/rhinestone straps, and I purchased a matching veil that has the same beading/rhinestones on the edge, but beyond that, the veil is plain

My veil is chapel lenght with pearl embellishments but my dressnis relatively simple with ivory accents. Pearls are also in my jewelry, my shoe heels, and will be in my hair

I have tons of detail on my dress and I bought a plain veil. I didn't want it to be too busy.
